About Me
Hi, I’m Sofia Simon, a first-year Master's student at the University of Michigan, specializing in UX Research and Design. With a strong foundation in Cognitive Science and Psychology from my undergraduate studies at UC Davis, I’m passionate about creating user-centered experiences that balance empathy, innovation, and technology.
My journey started in middle school, where I fell in love with illustration. This passion evolved through my high school journalism team as an illustrator and continued into my college years, where I embraced design. Today, I’m focused on merging my artistic background with my expertise in human cognition and technology to solve complex design problems.
I plan to develop a career in the UX/UI field. I aim to leverage my love for drawing and technology and use my skills to design inclusive, equitable, and accessible products that improve how people interact with technology in their daily lives.
