This was part of a project for my Graphic Design class (created in Adobe Photoshop) where we selected an event and created a poster for said event. I chose the artist Em Beihold that is going on tour this year. I got all my information from her website and the photo I used was from her show on July 20th 2022, posted on her instagram — Designed in Adobe Photoshop
This was part of a project for my Graphic Design class where we selected a topic that related personally to ourselves. We then created a "Zine" surrounding that topic. I chose baking, and more specifically, baking cookies. I started. baking when I was in middle school and it felt like something that was close to home. Being in college, I wanted the cookies to be simple enough that most people would have the ingredients and supplies at home. I included all the instructions and a list of ingredients so it's easy to follow along. The Zine reads as the first image on the bottom being the last page and the story starts with next image and reads counter-clockwise — Designed in Adobe Photoshop
This was part of a project for my Graphic Design class where we selected a font and researched the designer and usage of the font. I chose the Weiss font, by Emil Rudolph Weiss, that was originally published in 1928 and added a bit of detail about the history and inspiration for the font in the splotch of ink. I also utilized the symbols of the typeface in the different styles (italic, bold, extra bold, and standard) to create the illusion of a feather. The purpose of this was for imagery of creating calligraphy, which Emil was inspired by in production of the Weiss font — Designed in Adobe Illustrator
